The outer beauty of a machine can mask ugliness within. This Shadow was purchased by a man thinking it was a low mileage bike. Piston seizure and a stripped exhaust follower spindle brought it to my shop. Considerably more problems were found lurking within. The engine needed new bearing bores, the spindles bores area repaired, a crank rebuild, etc. It has been ridden regularly and with enthusiasm since it’s completion in late spring 2012. You just don’t know until you look inside.
